Men’s Fishing Trip

The next Men’s Ministry Event is our annual fishing trip. Guys: The boat is full as of 5/15/11. We’ll still be having our Fellowship Dinner at 5:30 pm on Sunday, October 2 in the chapel

-When: October 1st, 2011 to Catalina Island
Surface fishing: Yellow tail, Bonito, Barracuda, White Sea Bass, etc;
-Boat: Tide Change 60 foot x 18 foot
-Leave @ 05:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Cost- $90.00
- Everyone pays for personal fee for Galley (Bring Cash)
We add up all totals, and add Tip! But, $400.00 Min (so eat on the boat)
-Rod rentals:$13.00
-Tackle:$5.00

Men’s Camping Trip

Men’s Camping Trip – Big Pine Canyon

Date: June 24-26, 2011
Place: Palisade Group Site
Activities: Food, Fishing, Fellowship and Fun!
Group: 50 guys (14&up w/ responsible adult)
Cost: $10 per person. Breakfast and dinner will be provided. Bring your own snacks for lunch. Tents and RV’s (Limited) welcome.

From Highway 395 in Big Pine, turn west at flashing yellow traffic light and continue west on Crocker Street/Big Pine Road for 9 miles.

It’s Fishing time again w/ the Men’s Ministy. We are starting the list now, and are collecting deposits $50. First to pay! and you’re In. The boat filled up quick last year. The word got around quick when we got back, that everyone had a blast, and caught a full bag of fish!! So I’m sure it will fill up even faster this year.

Sign up for the Condors Hockey Game trip. It’s more fun as a group! We’re going Saturday, Janaury 23, at 7:00 pm. Terrace (upper level) – $6.00 (normally $10.00) Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, January 20th. Signup sheets are in the office or the church foyer. Make checks payable to Bakersfield Condors. Please leave form and payment for Terry Crosby in the the church office.

Men’s Deep Sea Fishing Trip

The Men are going Deep Sea Fishing! All Men and their sons are invited! We’ll leave on our Deep Sea Fishing Trip from Ventura, CA on October 31, 2009 at 6:00 a.m. You can contact David Smith at 661.332.3850 for information on carpooling, etc. There is a group going down on Friday evening and one leaving early Saturday morning. If you owe on your balance, please bring cash to pay it off. They do not accept checks or credit cards. Backup phone number to call is Anthony Ursua at 661.300.0609. (The trip is full but you can get on the waiting list by calling Anthony.)

Fishing in October is really good: Ling Cod, Halibut, Yellow Tail, Rock fish. It just depends on what’s running! Rods available for around $10 if needed, all bait included, many of us have extra rods to loan.

Men’s Camping Trip

Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, 2009.

Where: Grays Meadows Campground (6 miles west of Independence). Take Highway 395 to Independence. Turn west on Market Street (that turns into Onion Valley Road) and follow road for 6 miles. first gate accesses sites 36-52. Second gate is 1/4 mile up the road and accesses sites 1-35. Manager is on site #7.

Who: Guys 16 and older

Details: We have reserved 5 spaces for RV/Trailers/Tents. Space is limited so you must RSVP. Come for the weekend or just for the day! This will be a great time and fun and fellowship!
