Men’s Ministry Info

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.   Proverbs 27:17

The purpose of this ministry is to equip and encourage the men of Country Oaks Baptist Church to externally and internally desire God to be first in their life. We will seek to provide a positive Christian environment geared towards men. We will utilize biblical training to equip a man’s thinking, which changes his actions and helps him form new godly habits. The ultimate goal and result is that men will become leaders of the home, church and community and exhibit a godly, Christ-like character in order to impact generations to come.

Men’s Bible Studies:

Weekly discipleship studies with Andy Walker are available on Tuesday mornings at 6:00am and Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm. A men’s Bible fellowship meets at Mike Mason’s Home weekly on Thursday mornings at 8:45am.

Prayer for Men:

The first Sunday of the month, all the men of the church are called to the front for a brief encouragement and prayer for God’s guidance and blessing as men seek Christ first in their lives.

Men’s Ministry Meetings:

We focus on encouraging and building one another up for ministry through monthly gatherings for food, fellowship, Bible study and prayer. At the end of each monthly gathering men are encouraged to participate in ministry and outreach planning for upcoming events. Men’s Ministry Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm except January and July. Men’s Ministry also supports the Deacons as needed with outreach when services or help was needed within the church body.
